Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers, Inc. (V&M), a premier provider of engineering and surveying services in the Southeastern United States, announces the opening of their new office location located at 2154 North Center Street in North Charleston.

 With the opening of this location, the firm strengthens its presence and service offerings farther into Southeast South Carolina.

Randall Patrick, PE, PLS

V&M also announces the hiring of Randall Patrick, PE, PLS to head business development activities and to serve as office manager for the Charleston location.

 “We are continually looking for ways to expand our engineering and surveying services and are excited to have Randall join our team,” said Brown. “He brings a wealth of engineering experience and knowledge to the table.”

 Patrick, a South Carolina native and Charleston area resident, brings more than 20 years of civil engineering experience to V&M.  Prior to joining V&M, Patrick worked in both the private and public sectors.

 Patrick has worked on a wide variety of diverse projects including water and wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and site development.  He has expertise in planning, design, preparation of construction documents, as well as contract administration.  He is a board member of the Dorchester County Transportation Tax Authority, Dorchester Habitat for Humanity, Rotary Club of St. George, Lourie Theatre, and Klauber Building Committee.

 Local governments and municipalities, private developers, utility districts, and industrial boards in the Southeast South Carolina area will benefit from the strength of V&M’s significant experience in site development, surveying, construction inspection, and the design of water and wastewater systems, highways, streets, and bridges.
