Vaughn & Melton's mission is to provide high quality service to our clients, to make a reasonable return on our shareholder’s investments, while providing a good standard of living for our employees and leadership and support for our region and professions.

To be considered a provider of high quality service, a company must maintain a culture of being knowledgeable, responsive, professional, thorough, and consistent in its response to client needs. We invite inquiries to current and past clients as to our quality record.

Making a reasonable return on our shareholders’ investment requires that we operate our company in a businesslike manner, meeting our debts and obligations, and producing quality services that provide value to the client. The fact that we have not only endured but have grown for over a third of a century is a testimony to repeat business, the hallmark of any successful firm.

It is critically important that a company maintains a culture whereby the employees feel well rewarded for the commitment of their time and energy and one where they have incentives to stay and grow with the company. This provides for a stable and productive workforce in order that the client can trust that familiar individuals will be available when needed.

Providing leadership and support to our region and to the various professions to which our staff members belong is something we take extremely seriously. As members of learned professions, we have had the privilege of superior education, provided for the most part by the taxpayers. Our obligation is to contribute our time and knowledge to enhance our communities and add to the esteem of our professions.
