(GRAY, TN) – Vaughn & Melton has been selected to assist the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy (DMME) with realty services associated with the remediation of abandoned mine sites in Lee County, Virginia.

The contract will be performed through the Daniel Boone Soil and Water Conservation District. Work will include: required boundary surveys, titles, appraisals and negotiations for six sites including approximately 20 properties.
