Governor’s Crossing, a multi-faceted commercial development in Sevierville, Tennessee includes a wide variety of shopping, entertainment, lodging, and dining experiences. The project, located on a 152-acre site in the heart of Sevierville, has created hundreds of jobs and became a major hub for future development in the area.
Vaughn & Melton was selected for site development services in the Governor’s Crossing Development and served as the civil engineering representative on the Design Review Team. V&M provided general consultation and interpretation of the civil engineering sections of the Governor’s Crossing Development Standards and Covenants. The firm’s responsibilities included coordination of design work on all site infrastructure projects, preparation of revisions to the overall master plan and provided civil engineering design services for the Governor’s Crossing Director’s Group for “in-house” projects.
In addition, Vaughn & Melton also provided planning, site design, and surveying services to many of the individual developments located within the property including Governor’s Palace, Fairfield Resorts, Rainforest Adventures, The Resort at Governor’s Crossing and the Governor’s Crossing Outlet Mall.
